New Deacon Ministry Model at OAPC
Beginning January 1, 2022, we are implementing a new Deacon Ministry Model at OAPC. Rather than divide the congregation into DeaconCare groups, as we have done for 13 years, we will have a pair of Deacons on Duty each week. They will work closely with Jane Summey Mullennix to respond to immediate needs of the whole congregation and to reach out to our friends at home.

If you know of a particular need, please contact Jane Summey Mullennix ([email protected]) or Rebekah Huffstetler ([email protected]) in the church office.
To see which Deacons are on duty each week, click here.

Alternative Gift Auction --
Over $6,000 Raised for Missions
A big thank you to the disciples who participated so generously in the Alternative Gift Auction last month. Over $6,000 was raised for missions! We appreciate the bidders who got into the spirit of donating to enrich the lives of our neighbors facing financial and other challenges. Also, a special thank you to the donors of items or vacation opportunities, especially those who allowed a second sale of their donation. Our Mission Partners and the people they serve say, “Thank you!"
